New Business
Jackie announced the Powerful Difference Contest (www.powerfuldifference.com). Edith Lois was nominated for entry in the contest. Pat and Jackie said they would do a write up and enter Edith Lois in the contest.
Bylaws were passed.
Minutes stand approved as read.
Treasurer’s report was given by Sue Richardson. Deposits were made of $59.50. Disbursements were made of $345.00. New Balance of $4,455.72
Civic Report was given by Carol Childress. Need to find grant writers. Sub Committees include Maintenance - Pat Chavez, Grant Oversight - Jackie Mares, Fundraising - Jamie Blanks, Art Classes & Art Review - Karan, Even Coordinator - Karan. Club members help in any of these areas are greatly appreciated.
Art Report was given by Darlene Walker. Last art Class was led by Ethel Benningfield on Tea Bag Folding.
Nominating Committee report was given by Ruth Lawrence. Committee chose president who will help them nominate the rest of the offices. Nominee for President is Pat Chavez. President will be voted for with other nominees.
South Central Convention will be in Albuquerque, NM. Everyone is encouraged to attend this Oct 22.
